On 26 July 2026, we experienced one of those moments that reminded us why the Empowering Girls Programme exists.
When the programme was founded in 2022, we dreamed of creating more than a leadership programme. We hoped to build a community of young women who would grow, lead and one day inspire others to do the same.
That vision became reality as we welcomed back graduates from previous cohorts this time, not as participants, but as mentors.
Today, 73% of our mentors are Empowering Girls Programme alumni. Watching them share their experiences, encourage the current cohort and give back to a programme that once invested in them was a powerful reminder that real impact doesn't end when the programme does.
Leadership is about more than personal success. It's about lifting others, creating opportunities and leaving a path for those who follow.
To our alumni mentors, thank you for choosing to come back, to lead with purpose and to inspire the next generation of young women.
This is more than a full-circle moment.
