As we continue to grow the Empowering Girls Programme, we often look back at the stories that have shaped our journey.
This video captures the voices of our Cohort Two participants from Westbury, Newclare and Chris J. Botha Secondary School. Although it was recorded two years ago, the lessons and experiences they share remain just as meaningful today.
For one young woman, the programme became more than a place of learning.
"I never had sisters, but now I have twenty."
Another shared how the programme helped her become a better person both on and off the soccer field. Others spoke about developing resilience, learning to stand up for themselves, building confidence and being exposed to opportunities they never thought possible.
Every story is different, but together they reflect the heart of the Empowering Girls Programme. A place where young women discover their strengths, build meaningful connections and realise that their potential is greater than they imagined.
As we watch these stories today, we're reminded that while each cohort graduates, the impact continues to live on through every young woman whose life has been touched by the programme.
